Agency service for inspection & quarantine revenue
Introduction
It is a convenient service provided by Bank of China: when the customer goes through the quarantine and inspection procedures for import and export commodities, Bank of China automatically deducts the fees through Internet access to the system of the entry-exit inspection and quarantine authorities.
Features
1. Bank of China and the entry-exit inspection and quarantine authorities provide the platform for payment and enquiry;
2. Entity customers can pay the fees together with clearance;
3. It can speed up customs clearance.
Scope of Application
1. It is applicable to the entity customers going through the inspection and quarantine procedures for import and export commodities at the domestic opening bank.
2. It is currently available at Bank of China's Zhejiang branch.
Application Qualifications
1. Bank of China, the quarantine authority, and the entity customer shall sign an authorization to pay;
2. The entity customer shall possess the qualifications of the import and export enterprise, and those have no such qualifications can entrust the qualified ones with it.
Process
1. Enterprises of cargo declaration go through the declaration procedures with the inspection and quarantine authority;
2. The inspection and quarantine authority sends an electronic instruction of deposit deduction to the opening bank;
3. In accordance with the instruction, the opening bank will deduct the money from the account of the enterprises instantly and automatically, and then transfer it to the dedicated account.
Kind Reminder
1. If more than one enterprise entrust a certain enterprise's account as the special account for paying the fees of quarantine and inspection, the entruster shall sign an authorization letter of fund withholding with the entrustee.
2. The enterprises of cargo declaration shall recharge their accounts at the opening bank in time when receiving the SMS from the inspection and quarantine authority reminding insufficient balance in the accounts.
